Lee identified a need for automation, built a unique industry-specific application, and when launched, was able to cut his workforce by half and exponentially increase his sales. Since then, DBS has seen many upgrades and incarnations adapting it to today’s competitive government contracting environment.

DBS eliminates the need to run daily searches for government solicitations. It has a proprietary smart filtering system that displays for the user all matching solicitations to the user’s capabilities in one spot each day, without running any searches. It allows users to assign multiple solicitations to their sales staff while automatically sending vendor RFQs to solicitation-approved OEMs. It organizes each project in a pending bid tree by dollar value and due dates, allowing full accountability for each project status. At any given time, all users can see how many projects are being worked on and what their status is. DBS’ main task is to provide analytical data to management teams to drive productivity resulting in high submission ratios, which convert to high winning ratios.
